A cryptic phone call sets off a dangerous game of risks for Elliot, a down-on-his luck salesman.
We've all wondered what we'd do for our loved ones, but would you go to the extremes?
That's the question asked in this film which I would like to point out is a remake or a blatant rip-off of the Thai film "13: Game of Death".
Don't let that put you off though as if you're one of those individuals who can't stand subtitles (I'll never understand you people) then this is the version for you.
The films plot is executed rather well, credit has to be given to Director Daniel Stamm for giving us a solid story that flows well. Although I do feel like an established actor such as Ron Perlman was underused in his role.
As much as I enjoyed this version the original release was more intense and filled with more tension, this release felt like it held back too much.
"13 Sins" is worth a watch as it's highly entertaining, just please make sure you give the original a viewing as-well.
